The Cow That Flew.

I may be a cow,
But I have dreams too.
I'm going to fly,
If that's what I die trying to do.

I'll hug in my feet,
I'll lift off the ground.
I'm as sure that I will fly,
As I'm heaven bound!

Flap up above,
Headed for the sun.
I'll keep on going,
Until I'm sure that I've won.

Whoever heard that,
A cow that can fly?
Even if I can't,
At least I will try.

Unconstrained

Would that my feeble poetry Had the power to set you free Then thou would soar with eagles. And if my words could hunger sate Then never would be bare your plate And thou would feast with regals.

Together

We all have the capacity to love, Yet there's a propensity to hate. Search for peace's white dove, It is never too late. Don't forget your tradition, But don't be ruled by the past.

Sunbeams And Starlight

What do I see when I look at you. I see a radiant light. Shining from deep within you and lighting up the night. A little ray of sunshine. The odd moonbeam too. Picks out the twinkling starlight.
