Whenever we go for a drink,
Or a meal,
My favourite bit is the last part,
No not the pud,
(Although I do like that too)
I mean the lemon,
That comes in my drink.
I will sit there and eat the sour treat,
While my family look on in plain disgust,
They ask me what I'm doing,
And I stop,
And reply,
"What's up with your face? It's turned awfully sour!"

In our family, Our endearments are not sweet, Rather rude I would think, Never do we call each other dear, dearest or dearie. Sweetums or darling. For we are quite black country.
The food is ready. The dinner is done. Tuck in now. Or the dog will have some. He'll take it off your plate. You'll just see the lick of the lips. Nothing else, he's cunning like this. You will shout.
