bit of a self-reflection.

I just got on opuss to realize that I went from a rank of 19 to a rank of 104. I was actually sad about that. & then I realized that it doesn't even matter, that being sad about that was kind of conceited. Ranks don't matter in the least. As long as I'm writing what I feel, I don't care if I have a rank of 1500 like I did when I first got this app. I still have my ever so lovely followers who never fail to brighten my day with their likes & sweet comments. That's all I care about. No more conceited maisie.
ps. Have anyone of you heard the Head and the Heart? They're great. ❤☕

I believe in John Lennon because he told me all I need is love, & to me that seems pretty accurate.

Self reflection is good👍and I agree, it's the supportive comments that really make my day! 💗

@ckahn a little bit of self reflection a day can do you good, so I've learned. 😊

@maisiebeth that is a very wise comment and I totally agree. 😊

@crowncottage thank you so much☺

I really enjoy your work & don't believe rankings necessarily mean that much in the bigger picture anyway. For example, there are some amazing storytellers on here, who are never likely to be at Top Spot (or anywhere near) because they simply don't post the volume of work that others do-but that doesn't mean they're not just a talented. Regardless, I think you have the right attitude & should write because you enjoy it, & so that others like myself, can share that with you too😉😌

@Fly10 I'm learning that as well. I don't write as much as many others on here. I can't force words out of my mouth, so I'll just post whenever they come to me I suppose. 😌😄 & thank you, I don't think you can go anywhere with a negative attitude.

I totally agree that you can't force something out if it's not there. Some people amaze me with their talent and work rate - I'm happy if I can come up with 2 or 3 posts a week but I enjoy the challenge, it keeps the old brain active. 📑😊

@TheCodsPollocks aha, I've seen people posting that many times a day. I can never keep up. 😄 glad you agree.☕
