Eccentric Ramblings Of A Middle Aged Man 2

I love people watching, there is nothing that gives me greater pleasure than to sit in my local costa and watch people - well ok there is but for the sake of this rambling there isn't!
It is amazing to just note the different size, shape demeanour of people going by.
Generally they are too busy to notice my fascination in their daily exploits but occasionally I will catch the eye of somebody that isn't completely focused on going nowhere transported within their personal bubble. When I do the reaction is usually a self conscious smile from a lady or the look of "come on then, if you think yet hard enough"! from the kids in tow!
For someone who enjoys writing I would really recommend an hour or two people watching, you'll be surprised at the different mannerisms you will note and if you are lucky to be close enough to earwig a conversation, the colloquialisms you can pick up are priceless.
One warning though, there will always be someone watching you, so make it interesting for them, they may need material for there next novel, poem or rambling.
