How ever did you get to this place?
Eyes so sunken with darken rings
Your eyes say a thousand things
Every contour of your bones
Loosely covered with ill fitted clothes
Your poor diet showing in your skin
God only knows what's going on within
Track marks tell the tales of your life
Like you've hacked yourself with a knife
The bruises cover every inch of you
Every place the needles been is blue
Your hair is lank, no more glossy sheen
Looking at you now, I wonder where you've been?
Your eyes of grey with a telltale black dot
Your pupils so tiny it's easy to spot
You once had a lovely perfect smile
Your teeth haven't been great for a while
So now you prefer to not smile at all
The voice of happiness no longer call
You patiently wait until your next fix
That will help you forget all of this

👍and 😔 I've seen some addicts first hand in a job I did while studying. Drug addicts that is and what they'd do to get the money for the next hit is incredibly sad and beyond comprehension. Well done 💚
@eddie12309 my mother stole from me, and put mine and her own grandsons life in danger...but she just didn't care...it was very tough, scary and heartbreaking....I don't even want to know in depth what my mum did to get a fix!!😔😞
That's sad to here and I'm sure it's contributed to the person you are today. Your story is like those I've met and heard. 😔
