Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
You stole a piece of my heart and I don't want it back. I am leaving it with you forever and not looking back. You stole a piece of my heart but what I have left is still beating.
Teach me how to turn my heart to stone. The gold one I had melted when it was yours to own. Teach me how to have a heart that is so cold.
When I see you open up to breathe. I hope that you'd sing to me. It's opening up to break. Let's hope this love isn't fake. Don't throw this away. You know you'd need it some other day.

Our last kiss is still playing in my head. Wish it was forever but it looks like never instead. A loving embrace that wasn't supposed to end. But seems like forever is not the current trend.
