When life was a heavy load
I laid it down on the ground
Took only what I needed
My sleep was finally sound
When I felt I was always giving
Never getting much in return
I lightened my load some more
For others a lesson had been learned
When I felt like I was failing
I used to be down on myself
But made myself get up again
For happiness was my wealth
Life can be funny and sad
With all it's twists and turns
I love others but live for myself
My love and friendship is earned

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
It takes a whole lot of us to get ahead, to wake up everyday not thinking of the past, to realize that what we are doing is absolutely the right thing..
I know what sadness is. I know how it is to be hurt, I know all of the worst nightmares. I know so many painful things nor will I ever forget them.

these hard days upon us, i know they're gonna pass. they got you hoping, choking, knowing that some things can never last. they say the good die young, well i don't plan on going no where for a while.
