I may well be getting old
A little past my prime
But I kick against the pricks
And I do it all the time
I get a little achy
And my body feels the pace
But I've got my rebel's spirit
You can see it on my face
I still possess the spark
It yearns to be set free
Hard and sharp as nails
I don't give up easily
I work and play real hard
And I never wear a frown
You'll need to phone ahead
When I descend upon your town
I really am a good boy
Tinged with a shade of bad
You won't find me regretting
Things or times I never had
But that's enough moroseness
This sadness is old hat
Tomorrow will be different
You can be sure of that
Tomorrow I'll be older
But I won't really care
Tomorrow I'll feel younger
Come join me, if you dare...

That's lovely Lee, really enjoyed it. I don't regret getting older, except the effects of it physically! The fun thing is that in my head I am not old at all!! 😄😹
Really liked it! I think I am getting better and wiser as I age but my inner child still runs about the house carefree and crazy when she can 😊
@leelee101 I LOVE Lego!! I say go for it lol pleasure and laughter keeps us young so I indulge my inner child on a daily basis. I know I'm a responsible adult and I get all the adult stuff done so the inner child deserves to play!! 😊
