Or of a knowing friendly face
A rhyme can bring so much
A song can deeply touch
I never tire of verse
Read until my eyes hurt
To be able to write such things
I can't explain the joy it brings
The letters on the page just flow
The words in my mind, the pen follow
Write it out neat, so it's fine
