Opuss is a Heart

This is a room of red satin silk,
Leather-bound books, cookies and milk,
Great grand old chairs rimmed gold,
All sit around to hear what is told,
Many roaring fires under twisted ledges,
Flickering light makes pictures, sketches,
Words whispered, cried and shouted,
A room now comfortably crowded,
It grows out, velvet carpet expanding,
New, glowing red, now transplanting,
Out into the world, capturing minds,
Occupant arms stretched out in kind,
Appropriating hearts with words,
Inviting freedom to fly with the birds,
Stories and poems, pulse and beat,
Enrapturing whether sour or sweet,
This is a heart, a soul, burning coal,
We are the blood that fills its hole.

Rainbow Rain

A million drops fall from the sky. Some glitter green. While others are purple. Or violet in sheen. A drop of crystal blue. May be regretful and sad. Just as a drop of orange.

Let Us Be Free

Thick, thin. Pencil, pen. Art is so boring. We've yet to begin. No pictures to be drawn. No photos to be taken. It's left us all. Rather shaken. Taking notes. On different subjects of art.

A Watermelon

If I was a fruit I would be a watermelon. Hard on the outside. Inside so mellow. The green on the outside will be my cover. For the inside color I will save for my lover.
