It's like drowning.
Always drowning.
The water fills your lungs,
And threatens to pull you under.
You'd have to be depressed to understand.
You crave the touch of a knife
The soft caress of steel on skin
The way a simple cut can release you
You'd have to be depressed to understand.
Death is all you look forward too
Maybe something can stop this nightmare
No matter how beautiful.
All you want is
Cold
Dark
Silence
You'd have to be depressed to understand
Life hurts
Physically
Mentally
Spiritually
You drift away from:
Family
Friends
God
You'd have to be depressed to understand.
Have you ever considered suicide?
Actually taking your own life?
Removing your conscious from this world?
You'd have to be depressed to understand.
If you haven't cut
Don't Judge me
If you haven't purged
Dot judge me
If you haven't cried yourself to sleep at night with a knife under your pillow
Don't Judge.
Because you have to be depressed to understand.
