Mum

Thank you mum,
For being there,
Hugs and kisses,
Love and care.

I love you mum,
For your smile,
The way you laugh,
Your heart, so fragile.

I miss you mum,
When you go away,
A week, a month,
Even a day.

That's why I love it,
When we are close,
We mess around,
I love this the most.

I love that you care for me,
Even though I've grown,
You do it like I'm still your baby,
The one you call your own.

And when I write a poem,
You ask to read them all,
Treat my like I'm gold dust,
You did since I could crawl.

I love our fun days out together,
When it's just you and me,
Even ten minute walks together will make me so happy.

So I just want to tell you once again,
I love you mum, till the end.
You're my rock, my soldier,
But best of all your my friend.
