You open up your wrist again,
Let the love flow out of you,
And seeing now the state I'm in.
You feel remorse but still want to.
In my words sometimes I fly,
Anger and sadness and who and why?
You're still getting better, I try to trust.
The love we share is still so robust.
Despite your transgressions,
Erratic expressions,
Impressionable mentions,
The way you snore on the sleeping tablets.
The way you talk crazy on the sleepy tablets,
Frogs in the back yard dancing in rain,
Each splash and splatter takes away pain,
Off to sleep little one, night time again,
We curl and embrace and hope we will win.
