"Are we the only ones here? There's only, like, eight of us." Lydia said uncertainly.
Tashie snickered. "We're the last group to go out. We were waiting on you." she said, making Lydia feel guilty.
Stefan smirked at Lydia. "I don't mind waiting on her," he said, looking Lydia up and down.
Lydia felt herself blush. Gavin firmly put his arm around her.
Stefan turned his attention away from Lydia and slung a backpack onto his back. "Let's do this!" he yelled at the top of his lungs, flinging open the door.
Tashie rallied everyone out of the room. "Go go go!" she shrieked, closing the door. Lydia and Tashie stood in the room.
"Can I go?" Lydia asked, uncomfortable.
Tashie turned around and glared at Lydia. "Look, Lydia," she said, spitting out Lydia's name, "You BETTER be on our side. I don't know what you have in mind, but it's not going to work. So drop the act. You're not fooling anyone."
"I..I.." Lydia was stunned.
Tashie opened the door. "And stay away from Stefan, okay?"
Lydia stepped outside of the room, closing the door behind her.
