(First and last line of Greendays "know your enemy")
"Do you know your enemy?...do you know your enemy?" The local "crazy" old man asks out loud over and over again. The people around him will never hear his desperate calls, they will never see his wary face, they will never feel his justified fear, they will never realise just how un-crazy this man is. The people he tries to reach out to, have all got plastic tumours, tumours that act like parasites, parasites that take them over completely. In this superficial plasticificated world, the man who knows his enemy is the only man who can truly be sane.....the others are mere zombies, puppets and sheep. They should know that silence is the enemy, against their urgency, then they would rally up the demons of their soul.
