Dear little sister,
I will play with you
You can't talk to mommy
She's crying in there
Let's leave her alone,
Daddy's been yelling
And hitting things
I know you don't understand
But that makes mommy sad and
It makes me scared.

How the house is coming apart,
And mommy's special duct tape
Isn't quite sticky enough
To keep us together

Daddy used to make us snow men
But today he's forgot his medicine
