Woody's Got The Hiccups

(Woody's my dog)

Woody's got the hiccups,
It's driving him insane.
It started just this morning,
It's something quite profane.

With every little hiccup,
A whimper and a cry,
No matter what I tell him,
He's convinced he's gonna die!

Woody's got the hiccups,
He's really got them bad,
He's twitching like an earthworm,
I think it drove him mad.

I tried to stop his breathing,
But to really no avail,
There's nothing that can cure him,
Everything has failed!

We tried giving him water,
That only made it worse.
We tried everything else,
It seems that nothing works!

So finally we decided to take him to the vet,
As he took out a needle, the dog began to fret.
Then suddenly the hiccups stopped right then and there!

Looks like all he needed was a mightily good scare!
