Great big paws!
Scratching at the door.
Waiting to go out
And wallow through the mud.
Not a thought for my cream carpets
Or a care for my tiled floor,
Just a whining, whinging demanding pup
Who wants to go explore!
Snuffling through the grasses
And running through the mud,
And later snoozing on the sofa
And dreaming of chasing bees
While I clean up after his mucky mess
Scrubbing on my knees!
