I woke up this morning with nothing to say,
That's unusual what's wrong with me today,
I usually can talk a mile a minute,
Have written a second poem before the first ones finished,
So I'm writing about this plight,
The fact that today I'm struggling to write,
Nothing inspirational,
My minds being confrontational,
Brain blocking the flow,
Through my arms and fingers the breeze doesn't blow,
My cups neither half empty or full,
Brain is full of cotton wool,
I'm neither good or bad,
Neither happy nor sad,
I'm nothing today perfectly numb,
Not ecstatic or glum,
Not black nor white I'm undefined,
Staring at the blank paper with half a dozen lines,
Ill come back to the meaningful stuff later,
I'm off to have words with my mind the traitor.

I hope you get back to normal soon, I know this feeling way to well, it's been like it s lot recently. Looking back at old opusses normally help me to feel inspired again. Or as @sarahgamal says, music always is a great help to.😊
@Stablish thanks hun appreciate the advice. @leelee101 didn't say it was necessarily writers block just I'm a bit meh! Feeling like my writing this week has been a bit crappy!! Frustration comes to mind! @crowncottage yes it certainly will, gotta wait till 3.15 till I get to see them now though :-/ thanks all for your comments and advice it's greatly appreciated :D
@sammielee46 nothing wrong with what I've been reading hun. If you're feeling a bit meh, then take a little time for yourself. Don't force a write hunny. Ideas will form all on their own and you'll be away again... 👍❤❤❤💋
@leelee101 your right :) I've had a hell of a lot going on recently, and writing does help but when I'm feeling like this I'm overly critical of my work. I just need to chill out and just write Cus I love it and stop picking holes in my work!! :D thank you hun :)
I had a day like this yesterday couldn't write a word, so didn't even try I couldn't find inspiration anywhere best thing is to forget it, it will come back 😘
