My teeth begin to GRIND,
Your love for me you couldn't find,
I gave you back your RING,
I'm no longer your everything,
You thought I wouldn't pack my BAG,
You thought you could wave your white flag,
And you would be forgiven,
My GLASS heart shattered and sorrow ridden,
This was something you couldn't PREDICT,
Then your realisation suddenly clicked,
An envelope you gave me in the shape of a TRIANGLE,
It had been folded and screwed looked a little mangled,
I opened the FLAP took a look inside,
In it your poetry took me by surprise,
Told me you've been such a TOOL,
Said you were sorry but I'm no fool,
Didn't believe you before don't believe you now,
I found the strength from somewhere don't know how,
I took my keys from the POT,
Told you I wouldn't miss you an awful lot,
Opened up my diary it was more like a CHART,
Wrote today's date the day I mend my heart.
