You never know what you've got till its gone,
Never know what's right till you've done wrong,
Never feel warmth until you've felt cold,
Never know the truth until lies are told,
Never know what's up until you've been down,
Never know true smiles until you've had to frown,
Never feel loved unless you've been alone,
Never know success unless success is blown,
Never know what's good until you've had it bad,
True happiness will come when you've felt sad,
You'll only miss the sun when it starts to snow,
You'll only know true love once you've let it go,
Sometimes you've got to experience pain,
To appreciate the gain,
To take stock of life,
We learn from strife,
Never make the same mistake twice.
My view may be slanted,
But appreciate life don't take it for granted.
