I have deep insecurities you see
Lied to, beaten about, cheated on
Until all traces of life were gone
It's taken time to build my confidence
But I believe you are the one to break the million foot high fence
I need you to understand
That I need reassurance as well as your hand
I believe every word you say
But the price my heart cannot afford to pay

I love you with all my heart
I never want that feeling to depart
But I needed you to know
That I'm still trying to grow
I am yours
