Road To Recovery

So after it all
I survived the fall
Been tossed and turned
And had my fingers burned
But the road to recovery is here
And finally everything has become clear
I'd all but given up
But now I'm looking at my cup
Half full with hope
After being such a dope

I have to apologise to my family and friends
For trying to bring this to an end
Major surgery I'm recovering from
And like an old rom com
My REAL man has come to his senses
And we are not going to live in the past tenses

I cherish my friends
I love my family
And something positive has come out of this
I'm going to love my new life in the south!
