@eddie12309 I don't think it was a clique attitude, we are all happy to read new work and welcome new members, but when they turn up, post rehashed old quotes then ask for likes and follows and kick off when they are told that's not good etiquette around here, then yes, they might get told off.

@eddie12309 I just remember what a daunting place it was when I first joined but it's easy to forget not everyone knows how it works and I know what you mean about the clique at the end of the day there is some really good new talent on here and it would be a shame if they felt that they don't fit in or that there isn't room for them 😔

@eddie12309 ok so I'm over-generalising but the point is actually join in a bit to the app first. I didn't ask for any followers when I joined - I read other people's work, commented and had a bit of common sense. I guess my standards are too high?

@Irrational_Kimmi I see your point the point your making but what I'm saying is that if they are young and have come from other social apps they maybe assume that's the way to get followers so they just need a few kind words obviously I'm not talking about those that know how it works and repeatedly do it but even then isn't it easier to just delete or ignore the comment 😊

@sjw I've just said plainly - asking for follows isn't what we do around here. I've not been rude or mean unless they have acted bratty. Just deleting their post doesn't really address the issue.

@Irrational_Kimmi of course your standards aren't too high. But as @sjw says it can be quite daunting on here and if your used to a certain way, they shouldn't be vindicated for getting it wrong, its not a good advert for Opuss. That's all. 😊

I agree Sienna, very wise of you to notice this and to post an opuss letting us all know. When u first joined I was very intimidated, I commented on opusses and liked many too, I always got support and constructive criticism on my posts. An I understand what you're saying about how it is a race to get the most followers, it tends to be like that on twitter. 👍💜💐
