Fact #8 Of 23

When I was young, my mom would scold me when I was naughty.

I cried.

She'd hit me whenever those little tears come out.

"Why are you crying? I'm just scolding you. If you cry for nothing, I'll give you a reason to cry. Understand? Now, just don't do it again. You know I love you."

When I'm playing sometimes I would accidentally fall.

I cried.

My mom picked me up, kissed the hurt and told me to brush it off.

"Why are you crying? It's just a little scratch. Let me kiss it, it'll go away."

When I get into a fight, sometimes I'd win, sometimes I'd loose.

When I lost, I cried.

My mom hugged me and told me to wipe them away.

"Why are you crying? You didn't loose, you just stopped trying. Come, here's a backup hug. Now finish whatever just started."

So I wiped all those tears away and decided to toughen up.

Right and wrong is as simple as black and white.
If you do wrong, be brave, be accountable. Fix it.

When you fall, it's human. Save the self pity, pick yourself up. There's always tomorrow.

Don't give up just because you've managed to loose the fight. Win the war.

If you cry, make sure it's worth your tears. And if you do cry, don't let anyone see you sob.
