Shades of red, shades of
Gold
Paint a palette of beauty so big and bold
The leaves they swirl around my feet
Crunching under Wellies
As I meander down the street
Cosy firelight, draws many pictures on the wall
While the wind outside
Causes branches to crack and leaves to fall
I love to watch the rain as it hits the window pane
The lights gently glowing, and keep me feeling sane.
So I'll snuggle with my book, deep inside my little nook
And drink a mug of cocoa
Gently steamingwarming
Candles silently a-gleaming
Whilst I watch the shades of gold flutter down, down, down...into the cold
