English Rose

For and inspired by the naturally beautiful, sexy, cute, funny, awesomenessest young lady @mummy1111 xxxx

For many years I have been stuck in this clay
A lonely flower in the mass of fields of rotting hay
Withering and wilting hoping with a pray
A kind bee or insect will carry my poison away

Day in and day out I struggle to make it good
But the wind and rain don't bring me no food
Small minded creatures pull and tug at my petals that hurt
My roots don't reach out in this thick clay type earth

At night I look up and dream at the stars
Of a land rich with soil and friends that last
A place to blossom and flower in full colour
I dream my seeds will fall and I'm a mother

Then a happy bird singing it's joyful song
Finds me and I offer all that I am - my seeds and pollen
I sustain life to be reborn into a new patch of ground
Somebody must have heard my woes and entered my dreams but made no sounds

I remember my natural history of evolution
My past family related DNA strands in pollution
But as I now dwell here and now in these beautiful rich meadows
In my dreams she told knowingly I'm her beautiful English Rose

The Wind

The wind is strong, stronger than men, stronger than what they have created. The wind is soft, softer than the softest hands, softer than the silk those hands made.

Support

I see so many people who apparently need to use crutches or walking sticks. So naturally they have one but don't know how to use them.

The Birds Sing The Blues

On the dreariest of days the clouds oppress the skies. The flowers fail to smile. The sun refuses to shine. The wind adds an edge to the atmosphere. This is when the birds sing the blues.

Trees

I often wonder how it would be, If I was born a great oak tree, Stood tall and proud all on my own, Once just a seed nature had sown. Witness to all manner of things.

In Her Shoes

I never thought I'd be that girl, The one whose life could be walked through with shoes. It seemed absurd that a life could be reduced To such sole meaning, Such frivolity.

Growing Hope

Field of flowers, hope so bright, Just the one I need. Set me free, launch my flight, Plant my new grown seed. Round I wander, picking stems, Grow my mind just right.

Wind

The wind on your face in the trees in your hair. Its circled around the earth always been there. It may stop in one place for a day or two. Then it starts racing straight back to you.
