Staring out of the window
At the back of the bus
On this another new journey
He felt sadness from all the fuss
All around people had gathered
To see the blood and broken bones
The bloody pavement was scattered
Do they not have no place too go?
Flashing blue lights and high viz's
The crowed all green and faces rough
They watched on without missing
His last breath and words of love
His tearful wife had rushed to be by his side
She held his hand and kissed his mouth
He smiled through the pain and cried
Whispering words for the love of his wife
He closed his eyes and then a sigh
All the crowed had too got upset
His wife just cried by his side
She said he couldn't go not just yet
She told him she was with child
How she was a very happy lady
His eye's sparkled and he smiled
He said, "I love you and my unborn baby."
He began to move - no ground under his feet
A bright light dazzled his sight
A door opened then he took his seat
Looking back out the window he cried
As his wife stood waving with a tearful smile
