"It was exactly a year ago today?
I'm finding words hard and don't know what to say!
I'll try to explain the events of last night and yesterday
But it couldn't of been a year ago.....no way!!
So, I was on my way home from work
Sat nav redirected me down a road I'd never heard
It said it was called "Blackhole Road"
Due to the rain and fog I drove down it pretty slow
It was at approx. 6:30pm when I hit a ditch
I had little choice so trusted in my instincts
I had to swerve or I would've hit it
It just....I mean....It just stood there in the mist
I came too at the sound of my vehicles horn.
Bloodied and confused I then remembered what went wrong.
My vehicle had crashed and I got out onto the country road I travelled upon.
I looked left then right but it was nowhere to be seen....it was....gone.
I went back to my vehicle and my sat nav was missing
I sent my wife a text even tho I had no signal
I grabbed my wind up torch and began winding.
It was then when I felt the pain and realised just how much I was bleeding.
So I decided to walk back the way from where I was heading.
I was soaked through from the rain and it was bloody freezing.
I made my way back to the exact spot where it was standing and searched for clues.
To my surprise there was just 2 sparkling red high heel shoes.
Both together and pointing towards the hedgerow.
I could make out footprints so decided to see where they did go.
I made my way past the foliage and into the woods.
Following the footprints as best as I could.
After about 100 yards my torch flickered and would no longer work.
It was total darkness in the fog, rain, woods and the gash in my side really did hurt.
To the left of me I heard rustling then rustling came from the right.
Then I heard noises in front of me in the total darkness of night.
At first I thought I was being surrounded but then it gradually came into my sight.
She was sitting sobbing on a fallen tree and emitting a warm glowing light.
I edged my way nervously towards her as she continued to cry.
I asked if she was ok, hurt, lost or needed help but I got no reply.
Then she stopped crying as I stood right by her side.
She slowly released her head from her hands and looked me right in the eyes.
I felt sorry for her but what could I do?
I was in pain, lost, cold, wet and scared too.
In a soft delicate voice she said "I'm really sorry I made you crash and any pain I've just caused you.
Nobody else has been able to see me when I search for my bright red shoes"
This really confused me and I just looked at her with a stare.
I replied "I don't understand.....I mean....Just what are you doing alone out here?"
She asked me to sit with her and she would explain all and make it clear.
She said she was driving on her way home from a party when she crashed into a wild deer.
She got out of her car and started to walk along the country road.
A bright light from up above shone on her and up she began to float.
Her shoes fell off and she was in bare toes.
She looked up and could make out a huge type of U.F.O.
She then blacked out and in these woods is where she awoke.
Well as you can imagine I was pretty shocked to hear all of that.
I said maybe she just had had a dream, perhaps?
That I would help us to find our way back.
She said it was no use as she was dead and then I must have passed out.
Now you're telling me I've been missing for a year, presumed dead?
That my wife and kids had an empty coffin buried?
But it was only yesterday when I sent my wife a text message.
To say that I had crashed my work van and was walking back to a little country village.
Which is where the policeman found me, in the bus shelter, with those red shoes, fast asleep."
"Sir, we checked your phone records last year when you was reported missing.
There was no text message and there is no gash from where you say you was bleeding.
Also, there's no reports of any ladies mysteriously disappearing.
So again, can you tell us just where you have been for the past year and how did you acquire the solid ruby red shoes you was found holding?"
