the battle

this is just me messing around with a few words, suggested by my friend @stablish, my theme is the fight between light and darkness, this is nowhere near as good as the there's but it's a start for greater things :)

they say opposites attract,
so light and darkness can sit back and relax,
I've dealt with both and had no hope,
They both have had a hefty slope,

didn't feel right,
picking which side,
in this unforgiving fight,
the battle? what a sight,

stepping back and getting ready for the flight,
no way could I win this out right,
on the floor I saw my fall,
I had something to fight for,
the fall of my comrade stablish,
I helped him up and pulled him from the floor,
with one quick breath hope was restored,

looking back all feelings were explored,
stories reborn, and a good fight for all

didn't feel right,
picking which side,
in this unforgiving fight,
the battle? what a sight,

wouldn't you like to know,
who had won and holds a throne,
well sorry to throw you this bone,
but my words are kept and sown,
in my mouth which has been closed,

what happened at the fight for light and darkness,
for some will never know,
the words will be whispered in low,
but here I'll always treasure this arrow and crossbow,
