Young Love Chapter 4

That evening I rushed home to text Chelsea. It was a Thursday night which ment I still had homework to do, but also two days before the party.

"I'm scared." I said.

"Well why Callie? You've got your dream guy to go to the big end of the year blast at Micheal's. What is there to be scared of?"

"What if I mess up? I haven't really been able to talk to him yet."

"Just let him do all the talking. Gavin's the kind of guy who will talk about anything. The only thing you should be worrying about is what bikini your going to where and what sun dress your going to change into."

"Your right. Why don't we go to the mall tomorrow night." I said.

"See ya there!" Chelsea replied.

The next day after school I hopped into Chelsea's car instead of taking the bus. She owned a cute little yellow punch bug. One you'd expect to find in a Barbie movie.

"So what time is he picking you up tomorrow?" Chelsea asked as we drove out of the school parking lot.

"Seven. Gavin can actually drive unlike me."

"You finally get to see what car he drives!"

"Yeah I can't wait. Is it wierd though that my date can drive and all I have is my learners permit?"

"No not at all. Gavin was born in September where you were born in March. Besides the guys usually shofer their dates anyways so no one will know.

"Your right. I have nothing to worry about."

We arrived at the mall and walked into one of our favorite stores. I ran over to the swim suit section trying to find the perfect bikini for the party. From rack to rack I searched trying to find one that fit my personality. I ended up choosing a lavender colored bikini with a floral design printed all over it.
Chelsea choose a brighter bikini that looked like she tie dyed it the colors of te rainbow.

"All we need are the sun dresses." Chelsea said as she dragged me to the other side of the store.

The display of dresses was huge. On the car ride here Chelsea and I had agreed to get matching sun dresses but having them different colors. The only design we found that came in different colors was a simply dress that came down knee lenth with a v kneck collar and spagetti straps. I chose a welcoming sun shinny yellow where Chelsea decided on a bright neon green. We walked to the register with our merchandise in hand. Tomorrow night was going to be the best night of my life!
