Ashes

Tender scars you leave in my chest,
Permanently there now you've been put to rest.

Many many tears i have shed,
How much i miss you cannot be said.

Grandma your resting now but your spirit lives on,
A part of me torn away now you are gone.

I know eventually everyone passes,
And that became more evident when i saw your ashes.

Nan i miss you, more than i could possibly write,
So for now all i say is night night.

Rest In Peace Nanny.
Dearly Missed
Never Forgotten.

Remember Them

When the autumn leaves start falling. I know it's that time again. To make my way down to the memorial. Pay my respects and remember them. The fallen, the departed. Loved ones, dead but not gone.
