The ranking system
my theory is it's a hook,
We were are the little fishes that downloaded the app we looked at this rank thingy on the right hand side and thought I can do better than that.
So I post my first post and follow a couple of people.
I get a couple of likes and a warm welcome from the core opussians (the well and truly hooked).
Wow that's brilliant what a fab app, I'm gonna post something else and see what happens next.
Followers wow someone is following me that's so touching, I'm going to follow them back I wonder what sort of things they write. This is when one starts to Opuss stalk scrolling through someone's previous posts liking and commenting on everything (something I'm guilty of cant help myself). My rank has risen yay this is cool but I'm sure I can do better than that, I add a few more poems write like a few more of other people's writes and comment too, hang on I've done loads more than that person has and she's higher than me!
It's at that point I realise how irrelevant rank is but I'm already addicted so it doesn't matter. Well done Opuss creators I suppose for you rank does count.
