Another 12 hour shift of trying to meet the governments unrealistic target times, berated by management if 1 second over the time , no meal break , little opportunity for a refreshment . Being verbally abused by patients and relatives alike and sometimes physical . Doing the job I love , but wonder why ?frequently. Being told we have to work longer for less pension !! Would you want a 68 year old medic driving on blues and sirens on the road with failing eyesight and slower reflexes ? Caring for your loved one and having to work out complicated drug doses when having not eaten for 11 hours and sugar levels are so low you cant concentrate properly? This is the state of the NHS today . Who cares for the carer I ask ??
Rant over

Paramedic in UK love travelling and Formula 1.travel definately broadens ones horizons and the chance to meet some fascinating people on the way and hopefully make new and lasting friends. Anyone else in the medical profession?
