My Bio (maybe)

So I've put off writing a bio on here because I tend to lose track of what I'm writing and end up writing something completely different, but here it goes, let's see what I come up with.

My name ...I just realised I'm yet to mention my name...anywho, my birth name is Akash it means "Sky" although everyone calls me Kash. I go by many variations which include Kashman, Kash Money, Flash Kash, Kash Card, Kashanova, and the incredibly imaginative "kashew nut".

I was born and raised in the morally bankrupt city of London. I grew up and currently live in the borough of Tottenham.

I went off to uni in west London where I studied psychology, law, criminology, British History, and English, before settling on Politics, which is what I graduated in...That was two years ago.

As boring as it can sometimes be, politics is one of my major and most embarassing interests. Perhaps more so political philosophy. I'm slightly obsessed with philosophy but I would'nt have dared choose philosophy as my choice of degree, not for fear of ridicule...but for fear of losing the remaining grains of sanity I posess.

I'm also interested in psychology and anything to do with the human brain and nature/behaviour.

I like to read, mostly classics. I guess my favourite author would be Richard Yates, and Fitzgerald next to him who both happen to have written my two favourite books (Gatsby, and Revolutionary Road).

The latter I enjoyed slightly more as the main character struggles with a huge ego and inferiority complex at the same time. Which I (strangely) feel is relatable...but enough of the book report...let's go on to the film review.

My favourite film or "movie" if you're american would be either, the shawshank redemption or Donnie Darko.
The former (to me) is a tale of injustice, friendship and struggle.
And the latter is about time travel and a mentally disturbed teenager with a badass name.
I watch alot of films."ALOT".

In terms of music, I'm going to go with the cliched statement "I have an eclectic taste in music".
In short I like rock, soft rock and all the rocky variants with the exception of "screamo" music. I like classical, french, spanish guitar aswell as hiphop. I cannot tolerate dubstep however.
One of my favourite songs that I'm yet to grow tired of is the 1963 version of "Danke Schoen" as sang by Wayne Newton.
I won't list all the musicians I like, as I would literally be here writing and rewriting names for hours.

I play guitar, some electric and mostly acoustic. I prefer acoustic, it feels more natural. I've always wanted to learn classical spanish guitar, but it's a slow frustrating process.

I like most sports, but not so much football, which is like saying I'm the antichrist to most people.
I like F1, tennis, athletics, mma etc.

As far as being involved where sport is concerned, I was once the smallest and slightest of my classmates at school and was forced into martial arts classes at the age of 10 to toughen up. I enjoyed it, I practiced Karate for 11 years, but now I do my own thing which is mostly boxing and mma...best described as a mixture of drunken master Kung Fu and the soldier boy dance.

I work out every other day, I get very agitated when I have'nt.

I drink occasionally and smoke excessively. I'll eventually give up...I hope.

I have no idols. Sure there are people I look at and admire things they've done like John Lennon or Aristotle. But there's never been anyone I've idolised or want to emulate. Although I hope to find someone I can truly idolise one day.

I'm quiet, some people mistake it for rudeness but I'm generally stuck day dreaming until something snaps me out of it.

I love words. I know people are sometimes annoyed when others use so called "big words" but I think the english language is so beautiful, it's a shame we have to shorten everything.

I like art, particularly from the renaissance era. I'm also into photography, though I'm not very good at it. I blame it on the camera, there's too many settings.

I also like to travel and though I'm not religious, I'd like to visit Rio to see christ the redeemer (the statue).

I have no tattoos, partially because I can never decide what I want.
I have two piercings (ear and eyebrow) which I'm contemplating removing.
I have brown eyes, though my right iris is tainted with a peculiar patch of green. And I can bend one of my thumbs all they way back, I'm yet to impress anyone with it.

I love peace and quiet because it's such a rareity.
I hate injustice.
I try in vain to avoid smiling, because it apparenty makes me look like a psychopath.

As far as my writing is concerned...with the exception of the few stories and blogs I write based on things I've read on the news, everything else is either based on people I know or myself.

I use Opuss for several reasons.
If I have an idea for a song, it's easy to jot it down.
If I'm stuck for inspiration, there's plenty to read to get me going.
And if I'm looking for something good to read, I just have to pull my phone from my pocket.

I guess that's the basics...

Really nice to get to know you better๐Ÿ˜˜ my Dad played Spanish guitar, I grew up prancing about the house to his strains, hence I have a passion for flamenco dancing.

Good to get to know you better, if you ever want baselines to some of your songs, I'd be happy to try stuff and see if you like it. Nowadays it's easy to collaborate via Internet.
