Talks

Is everyone like this? Does everyone have talks with themself? Not just silly chatter, but real, meaningful talks in which part of you is argueing with the other? Talks that involve wiether the extra razor in your bathroom should be used for something other than shaving? Talks about how you could hide the cuts and scars under sleeves and bracelets? Talks about how no-one would miss you if you just disappeared one day? Talks about what would happen if you took over the max suggestion of pills? Just one more pill than you have to take anyways? Talks about what you would say if the counsler called you down or if your parents sent you back to therapy? Talks that end in tears and screams? Does everyone have those? Does anyone but me? Because that's only the beginning of our conversation...

Her Lips Were Set In A Thin White Line, Cracked, Dry, And Hopeless

You'd Have To Be Depressed To Understand

It's like drowning. Always drowning. The water fills your lungs, And threatens to pull you under. You'd have to be depressed to understand.

Going Down?

I stepped in the elevator on my deepest of days. Thinking of the sorrow I've endured for years. Thinking about the scars on my wrists and stomach. Thinking about why they are there.

Night Lights, Day #1

The dark seemed to glow that night. Everything seemed different, but somehow reminded me of the past, in each blink.
