A Friend In Need

Not everyone is gunna say your beautiful.
A dick or a bitch will only shit you.
But that because your better than them.
Imma friend and let me tell you something.
You shine brighter than a million stars.
Your crazier than a cuckoo bird.
You have a real heart not something artificial.
You know how to have a fun time.
But you don't know what to look for.
Your always insecure, always doubting.
Looking away or at the ground trying to hide.
Always wearing a jacket cuz you think your fat.
Starving yourself because everyone else is skinny.
Crying alone at night in your room.
Tears of hate and sadness fall.
Theirs no one their to comfort you.
They don't understand do they.
Unlock your door and open your eyes.
Can't you see everyone is perfect in their own way.
Whether it is beauty, smarts, or their humor.
Their are people in this world who are dicks.
They can be the rich ones or the poor ones.
Someone's always gunna doubt you.
Always look over you until you give them something they want.
But are you giving it or are they taking it.
Your a friend in need and I wanna help you.
I'm not a therapist or anything professional.
But I don't need to be cuz I'm your friend.
All you need is an ear that listens and a heart that feels.
