You have a point of course. But, wars are classed by governments as rather necessary on occasion. It's a sad fact that wars, despite their brutalities, bring countries together, as well as thinning the population. As cruel and heartless as wars are, they are necessary on occasion. It would no doubt be truly beautiful to live in a world of peace and harmony but that is not the human way. And that fact is perhaps the starkest pointer to why we must constantly endure wars.
