Am I so invisible that you can't see?
I am standing right here, can you see me?

Even if you don't have a clue who I am

Of who I am and what I've been through

Am I the one you make snarky comments to?
When I'm still nice and kind to you

Am I the one you see as below?
The one you see as ugly and slow

I am the one that doesn't have a problem with you
I am the one that will be nice and kind no matter what you do

Show me some kindness
I am just like you
But you are just ignorant

I don't know if this could or would be counted as a #disabilityaware piece? Because I read it back and wondered if it did sound like one ...
But this is inspired by some girls at my college. A few girls in my class always call a friend of mine "Reebok Classic" or just simply "Reebok" when he has done nothing to them. All he ever did was wear reebok trainers. And one girl seems to ignore me and act as though I am not there when she could see me perfectly clear. What have I done to her? Nothing ...
