Freya: Part1

Lucky, all six foot three of her, screamed loudly in Ruby's ear. Ruby moved away from Lucky and towards the last in their little trio, Freya. Freya just laughed at the scream and carried on walking, leaving her best friends to it.
"If you two are going to carry on being children, I will disown you" Freya called over her shoulder with a smile on her face.
"HEY! YOU CAN'T DISOWN US!" They both shouted at the same time.
"Well, I wouldn't have to disown you two if you didn't make me late to college ALL the time!" Freya smirked. She was looking at them now and what an odd pair, she thought. Lucky had hip length yellowing hair and bright green eyes. Ruby, on the other hand, lived up to her name and had bright red shoulder length hair with lovely topaz eyes to match. Ruby was tiny compared to Lucky, being exactly a foot shorter than her. Then there was Freya.
Simple old me, she thought.
Freya had dark brown eyes, which Ruby said were the colour of chocolate, and just below shoulder length chocolate brown hair. She wasn't as short as Ruby or as tall as Lucky but she was an average five foot five.
"I have work due today and if I'm not in by nine, my teacher will kill me and he won't let me leave at half ten because I will have to make up for the time missed and I can't do that today." Freya said then sighed.
"It's today, isn't it?" Lucky said, frowning slightly.
Freya nodded now, not trusting her voice. It was going to be a hard day, she knew that, but she didn't know quite yet how hard it was actually going to be.
