Under his exterior
Is a really lovely guy
He has heartfelt talks
And a little quiet cry
To me he spills his heart out
Tells me perhaps too much
A problem with his anger
Stay away from his angry touch
He is such a good friend
And is lovely to me
He even saved my life
Yep, he saved me ...
We were off on a walk
Our class gone to art
We had to go upstairs
Oh, how do I start ...
The theatre is outside
In a building of its own
Art is in the main building
Oh if only I'd known
Wet, it was outside
"I'm going to slip"
Curse myself I did
But no, I didn't trip
Walking to the stairs
I decided to go for a slide
Nearly fell backwards
And really wanted to hide
His hand fell on my back
So I wouldn't hit the floor
I doubled over in laughter
I couldn't take it anymore
"Are you okay?"
Is what he did ask
As I laughed my head off
Laughter he did try to mask
We were laughing, me and him
Just for us to see
"Did you just see that?"
He laughed, pointing right at me
(Yep, true story!)
