My Day

Thinking about it,
My day was really fun,
Laughing and singing,
Running in the sun,

Dancing to the Time Warp,
Cause that's what we do,
It puts a smile on my face,
So I don't feel blue,

First we had french,
With one of my favourite teachers,
She's really nice,
I wish you could meet her!

We watched a film,
Could sit where we chose,
Laughing a lot,
Wash away all your woes,

Next came DT,
Designing something,
Song stuck in my head,
So, I started to sing,

Went out to break,
Played 'Dinosaur Catch',
Found two sticks,
Had a cricket match,

Off to L2L,
Which is learning to learn,
Drawing jellyfish,
Because it's the end of term,

We had design a mascot,
Our group did jellyfish,
Some playing sports,
Others making a wish,

English was next,
Watching spiderman,
Writing our stories,
The best that we can,

Got back my level,
From the last test,
Really happy with it,
It's one of the best!

Lunchtime came,
Off to the bus park,
Clouds covered the sky,
It got rather dark,

But it didn't rain,
Out came the sun,
Dancing the Time Warp,
We had lots of fun,

Chasing each other,
Singing some songs,
Smiling widely,
All lunchtime long,

Science came last,
Hair tied back, goggles on,
Humming along,
To an annoying song,

Turn on the Bunsen,
Watch for the flame,
A wild burning mass,
Never to be tamed,

Get out a damp spill,
Covered in powder,
Iron, I think,
Watch out for the shower,

Of pure glowing sparks,
Golden and bright,
Sparkling freely,
Giving off light,

Get some copper sulphate,
All greeny-blue,
Put in a test-tube with,
Some other chemicals too,

Add sodium hydroxide,
Stir it around,
Watch for the precipitate,
Waiting to be found,

Only one day more,
Of this place called school,
Until we can relax,
In the shade, so cool,

Holidays are coming,
So very fast,
But in an instant,
They'll all be past.
