I have just been on YouTube looking at the comments to a video (the Study of Stealth from the Dishonoured game, by the way). It has posed a question I have often thought of. Why are YouTube users so rude?

Every other comment is some swear-ridden allegation or harsh, melodramatic remark that is just so unnecessary. I have occasionally seen Opuss users do it as well, but not often. I understand there are a lot of trolls out there (the most irritating, harmful and pointless hobby out there) but they can't ALL be trolls. Do we all have a cruel heart and need the anonymity of YouTube to express it? I do hope not.
