As the Internet expands and becomes more used worldwide, the things it is used for are becoming more petty and stupid along with many of the people using it. Today, I was on YouTube, watching some vlogs, when I stumbled upon a comedy satire video of an over-patriotic American talking about how much better America was than everywhere else. This video was obviously a satire, yet many of its viewers did not realise this.
These are some of the stupider comments I saw:
"no way you stupid americcan b******d i hope u die brittan is way better if you dont agree ill come to america and break youre nose"
"yeah america is the best cuz it has the bigest army and it has nukes and we save everyones a*ses in ww2"
"amerrica invented the car the bike the plane the phone the computer the gun and the nuke"
"america is stupid and racist and everyone hates it"
Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...
It appears that the Internet is a channel for all the stupidity, hate and arrogance that is hidden inside some people, just as writing is a channel for the creativity inside the writers of Opuss. Such are my angry thoughts for the day.
