Chapter Thirty Seven
Never Ever Leave Me
The next day after school,
"Serena said she chose me over her friend but I don't believe thats true" said Caden. Naomi cocked her eyebrow. "For what?..." she asked. "Oh just problems we had earlier" replied Caden. He wished he could tell Naomi the truth but he thought it would be too dangerous.
"Caden!" Serena yelled. Caden turned around to face her. "Hey..." Serena could tell he was still upset. "I'll leave you two alone" said Naomi and with that she left. "Caden I'm sorry but I-I choose you" she said. Caden bit his lips. "I guess but I don't believe it. I mean its hard to believe it". Serena frowned. She knew she couldn't choose. She loved Caden dearly but she also loved Tara.
Caden turned around and started walking away slowly. "Caden..." said Serena. He turned around and asked,"What?" "Never ever leave me" said Serena. Caden sighed and walked away. He didn't feel like being with Serena. He didn't feel like dealing with her.
As he got home,
He sat on the couch and thought. "Never ever me" kept echoing in his head. The thought of it made him shiver. He then remembered the first day he met Serena. He accidentally bumped into her. The way she looked at him and the way he looked at her. How could she love him so much? How did he ever won her heart? What was it that no other boy or men had? What was the big deal about him? Why was he so special? Why did she picked him to be the only one?
"Damn I never knew that!" Naomi exclaimed. Caden told her about the shooting. Caden sighed and said,"There's something else you didn't know". Naomi cocked her eyebrow. She bit her lips. She began to get nervous. "Listen before I tell you..I can't tell anyone alright?" Caden asked. He looked deeply in Naomi's eyes. Naomi looked in his eyes also and got lost in them. "Yes I promise" she said without taking her eyes off him. "Serena is a vampire" Caden spat. Naomi took a step back. "She is?" "Yes. She's been that way for her whole life".
Naomi shivered. Caden could tell that she was scared just like him,when he found out also. He was terrified but he still loved her. He always have and always will. Soon he heard on knock on the door. It was Serena.
