Chapter Twenty Two
When I'm With You
"I-I wanna see him again! I l-love him! Serena sobbed. Tara frowned. She rubbed Serena's back. "Try to go talk to him. You never know until you try" Tara said. "I g-guess " Serena said as she wiped her bloody tears.
As Serena went to Caden's house,she heard him talking. "Yeah,I guess but still she shouldn't of done that. She really hurt me. That was one of my best friends". Serena bit her lip. "Okay bye Gavin" said Caden and put his phone his pocket. "Caden? I really need to talk to you" said Serena. Caden turned around. "Serena? What do you want?" he asked while being annoyed."Babe, I'm so sorry. I was just jealous". Caden rolled his eyes.
As he walked back to his house,"Serena,I can't be with anyone and I don't want that if I'm with you. When I'm with you,I'm safe but everyone else isn't. I don't want that". Caden said with a serious tone. Serena's eyes filled with tears. Then Caden went inside,he closed the door.
Serena pounded on his door. "Caden! I'm sorry. I was just jealous but I was afraid to lose you". Caden looked at his door. "Well, it looks like now you lost me...forever". Caden said as he tried not to cry. Serena burst in bloody tears. Caden heard her back slide down the door. "When I'm with you,I feel so happy. In fact truly happy". Serena shouted. "When I'm with you,I'm so in love. But that was when I was with you". Caden said as it felt like his voice was fading. Caden lied down on his bed. Somehow he fell asleep.
At Three o'clock at night,
Caden heard wailing. He felt scared. He went to his front door. He opened it slowly. He saw Serena sitting on the porch. She was shivering because it was freezing cold outside. "Serena?" he called. Serena turned around. Caden tried not to scream. He was horrified of what he saw. Serena was pale,her skin was icy,and blood streamed down her face. He began to shiver not from the cold but from fear.
"Caden" she whispered. Caden had to let her in. "Serena come inside". He said and gently pulled her in. He put her on the couch. He got a blanket and covered it around her. "I'm-I'm so sorry Caden". She said. Caden shook his head. "I'm gonna go to bed now". As he stood up,Serena grabbed his arm. She shivered and let out tears.
