Darkness & Despair

I feel blind, engulfed by darkness and isolation. The only thing I can feel is the cracked concrete ground. My senses are slow, and my movements haphazard. The only sense I can work is smell.

Terrified, I remembered our break up. I had come home and Was planning to break up with him. I opened the door and there he was - on his knee with a ring. And all our families and friends were there.

And the angel left me to die. The angle fled hell and climbed the steep stairwell to heaven... Leaving death behind in its path. There was no angel now to guide me, nor to heal my bloodied wounds.
