One Cut Too Far

I never knew that an email could go so wrong. It was a normal Saturday night. Just eaten a large pile of pizza, and was on Facebook. As I logged in, I noticed that my friend Tabithia was online. And it was ten pm. I know your thinking 'so? Who cares?' But at ten pm she is always out. Week in, week out she is at a party, on a date or just generally at my house, or sometimes her cousin Missys. But she was in. I frowned and picked up my can of dr pepper. I took a sip and opened up a chat with Tabithia. I typed in
Hey Tabs, what's up? R u ok!???
I pressed enter and minimised the chat. I went into her profile. Her profile picture had changed from her and her boyfriend Ryan to her on her own. Ryan, a tall guy with Green eyes and a flirty nature was also online, I noticed. In the photo before, Tabithia wore a pink tank top, her
Wavy brown hair reaching her waist and her blue eyes wide. That was a old photo. The newer one had her hair, now bottle blonde an shoulder length, in perfect waves and her eyes outlined in gold. I noticed that the box at the bottom said I had a new message from Tabithia.
Hi Ash. No I'm not ok.me and Ryan broke up.
I bit my lip. I paused then typed :
Oh sorry. How are you holding up?
I sent it and she replied.
Not good. Wanna know the good thing? :)
I frowned. What good part about breaking up with the guy shed been with for the last five years?
Jason asked me out! I said yes.
Typical. That's just like Tabithia. To break up and immediately get a new guy. I didn't know what to write. I was saved by her typing:

I just typed 'Bye xx' and watched the green dot fade. I went on my own profile and changed my profile pic, something to get my Mind off Tabithia.
I changed it, and smiled as I saw the difference. The old one had me frowning, my black hair falling into my eyes. My blue eye were staring and my skin was deathly pale. It was now
A happier photo, where my hair was tied in a low pony and my skin had some colour. I went onto email and typed in

Sooo Bithia said she and Ryan broke up, but she is now with Jason. Haut thought you should know in case she cries tomorrow. LUV ya xx

And went on Facebook, in a different window. I updated my status and opened iTunes in a third window. I looked at my gift card. £10.55 left. I added a few evanescence songs, a Taylor swift and a Wanted song to my wish list before browsing the apps. I heard a beep as I revived a new email. Amy.

Oops. That wasnt nice. I signed off email and went back on iTunes. Once the songs and the app had downloaded, I went in Facebook. Amy was on. I realised that's she might say something about Bithia. But I didn't see anything on her page. I logged off and turned the laptop off. I lay in my bed awake, and it took me an hour to realise that Amy might have posted something on Tabithias wall. 'Well,' I thought. 'At least it won't be too bad.'
But how wrong was I.
