I watched the beautiful sunset,
It's colours bold and bright,
It meant daytime would fade away,
And turn into the night.
Red and orange, into yellow,
The colours faded in turn,
It stood out in the indigo sky,
Every night it would return.
It was a beauty beyond any other,
You would ever see,
This sunset from a fairytale,
Is watched by you and me.

As the crisp clear waves,. Wash up onto the sandy shore,. A picturesque view point. Was what I saw. The colours were deep shades of crimson,. And light pinks too,. And even poking out elegantly,.
A beautiful smear of colour, Streaming across the sky, Against a dark grey canvas, The bleakness seemingly dies.
A splash of sunset makes the sky, A 'V' of geese and ducks there fly, The colours vivid, is it dye. Until the eve, it bids goodbye... Red and gold and blue and dusk, Mottled with the evening musk.
Sparkling, saffron rays dance across the shining, jade leaves. Dazzling, ribbons of azure, crimson and lilac pattern the darkening sky. Glistening, amber stars twinkle into the onyx black heavens.
I gaze out of the frosted window, The cold surface tickling my face, Before me, a sunset canvas, A barrier to outer space.
The windswept leaves. Hovered around my feet. Autumnal air. Had come to greet. Foliage change. Like Chameleon leafage. The boughs of trees. Bend like a rickety bridge. Natures offering.
