The windswept leaves
Hovered around my feet
Autumnal air
Had come to greet
Foliage change
Like Chameleon leafage
The boughs of trees
Bend like a rickety bridge
Natures offering
Of fruitful abundance
For us to savour
Autumnal opulence

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
Red and yellow painted leaves Hang idly within the trees They break and sail Along in the breeze As fires of autumns time.
The fall is flung with hued delight, hung on trees in shivered night.

So much changes when spring finds its way. Pass do the whites and the dankly dull greys. Remain does the rain but the sunshine comes with. In a splendorous fashion, that the flowers shall live.
Golden hued leaves fall graciously to the ground. All the little squirrels stop and turn transfixed to the sound. Pollen lost from the legs of bees coat the glistening floor.
Hello dear sun. Oh, welcome back, Your warming light, I seemed to lack, The sky was grey, But now you're here, A joyful blue.
A beautiful smear of colour, Streaming across the sky, Against a dark grey canvas, The bleakness seemingly dies.
Step out of the door, The cold chill sends ice through my spine. The warm colours tells me autumn has arrived. A season of paradoxes.
